Something about Benjamin Guez
I
was born in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1983. After unsuccesfully completing second
grade, my family and I moved to Chicago in the States. I have traveled through
the former Soviet Union as well as much of Western Europe. A few years ago I
visited Colombia, a country that would change my views on many things, including
a taste of third world problems, thoughts of my future occupation, and the realisation
of many beautiful and exotic ideas. For a few years I studied at Florida International
University in Miami, no doubt improving my Spanish. Where am I going to go for
my next adventure? Mexico, Spain, Russia, Mongolia, China, are some of the places
I wish to visit in the future. I am intrigued by small villages, look forward
to lonely and mysteriosly constructed roads and wait until the day I find myself
again surrounded by mountains. I am always looking for new adventure, the more
unorthodox the better. In January 2003 I am in Tucson Arizona to begin studies
in the UofA. If you have an idea, want to travel with me somewhere, or have
a suggestion, need advice, or looking for an adventurer to talk to, please do
not delay in contacting me.
